Lismore Software has launched the Blue Label PowerEmulator, allowing PC, Unix and Linux applications to be run on the Mac.

The PowerEmulator is shipped without requisite operating systems but is stable and fast, Lismore claims. Its modular structure permits expansion and enhancement of the software.

Blue Label emulates Pentium processors and SCSI hardware, enabling the use of external SCSI storage-devices in PC and Mac formats. The user can choose which software to use at start-up time and can transfer back to the Mac OS at any time.

Blue Label PowerEmulator costs $29.95 for a single-user licence.

UK pricing was unavailable at the time of writing.
