Mac users in the South West have a new support service, called The Mac Agency.
The firm was founded by Matt Windsor, who ran a Mac support service in London prior to setting up in Warminster, Wiltshire.
He told Macworld: "I am trying to fill the gap in the South West by offering my expertise as a Mac specialist here. I have already encountered a huge amount of interest."
According to Windsor there is a marked difference between the market for Mac support in the South West and London. "The Macs I'm seeing are generally slightly older than the ones I used to see in London. It's great fun, I've recently been fixing an old Performer 6200."
The Warminster-based company will provide hardware and software support, network and wireless solutions, Internet consultancy and Web development, as well as help with the transition to Mac OS x, database design, Mac health checks, and training.
Windsor, a self confessed Mac-fanatic with over 20 years' experience of "using and abusing" Apple Macs, said: "We will provide a professional, personal and friendly service but at a customer friendly price."
