A series of hands-on training seminars will be presented later in the month by Macworld, Digit and Corps Business.
Courses will be held at a London City Learning Centre on June 24 and 30. June 24 offers training in DVD creation, while June 30 is dedicated to building accessible Web sites. The courses cost £179 (excluding VAT) each. Call 020 7222 8484 to book.
The DVD creation session guides attendees through building an interactive DVD from start to finish. The course uses DVD Studio Pro and Final Cut Pro. Students need a basic understanding of Photoshop 5 or later, and a working knowledge of Mac OS.
The accessible Web site design course offers attendees a chance to learn how and why to make Web sites more accessible. Making Web sites accessible is becoming a duty under law, with many public sector bodies insisting on accessibility in their public Internet presence.
This session will present attendees with the task of redesigning the Web presence of the Institute of Business Ethics. Students will work to improve that site's accessibility.
