Motorola CEO Ed Zander is insisting that mobile phone carriers aren't balking at his company's plan to sell a phone that doubles as a music player.

Zander told The Chicago Tribune: "There is no resistance on anybody's part. I don't know where these rumors got started."

He went on to confirm that the iTunes enabled phone will be "out in a few months", and insisted: "When we did the deal [with Apple] last year, we knew exactly what carriers were interested in."
