Opera Software has fired another blast at Microsoft, this time for the latter's lack of Hebrew language support in Internet Explorer for Mac.

Opera for Mac will support Hebrew, Russian, Arabic and Korean on release. Influential IT news Web site, The Register, reported Microsoft's failure to support Hebrew last week.

Hakon Lie, chief technical officer at Opera Software observed: “By not providing localization, Macintosh users are being forced to convert to Windows. These acts show how minority groups are discriminated against when a company wields its monopoly power."

The current version of Opera's browser, which does not support Hebrew, is available for download.
