Apple has released documentation to support Wednesday’s Mac OS X 10.1.1 update.

Fixes include a problem with transferring information from one FireWire volume to another, and an issue that caused USB mice to temporarily stop responding.

There are also iTunes and CD-burning enhancements. It offers improved reliability when resolving aliases of MP3 files in iTunes. Discs burned with iTunes eject more reliably. There is also enhanced functionality of full-screen iTunes visualizations when hardware mirroring is enabled.

There are Finder, Dock, Sleep, and System Settings Enhancements as well as better compatibility with Microsoft Office v.X.

Mac OS X 10.1, Security Update 10-19-01, and Installer Update 1.0 must be installed prior to installing Mac OS X Update 10.1.1.
