Apple has updated Java support for Panther.
The company has released the Java 3D and Java Advanced Imaging update for Mac OS X 10.3.1 or later.
The update contains support for Java 3D and Java Advanced Imaging, according to notes on Apple's site.
Apple explains Java 3D as: "extending the Java platform, providing additional capabilities for running three-dimensional graphics applications and Internet-based 3D applets."
The company adds that: "Java Advanced Imaging (JAI) Update extends the Java platform, providing additional capabilities for running image processing applications and imaging applets in Java."
