Harold Heim Software and Panopticum have announced the release of 1.01 Plugin Galaxy for Macintosh.

Plugin Galaxy is a collection of 20 Photoshop-compatible plug-ins with 120 image effects. This update fixes problems that used to occur if there wasn’t enough memory allocated to Photoshop in the Get Info dialog.

Plugin Galaxy 1.01 can now be used with a wider range of applications, such as: Photoshop 4, 5 and 6; Illustrator; ImageReady; PageMaker; Photoline 32; Canvas; and Color It!.

Functions include transparency manipulation, blurring, texture and pattern generation, noise creation, mirroring and warping. It also includes metal, chrome, neon, pop art, glass, rainbow, sunshine and star effects.

Additionally you can enhance colour, add edges to, and encrypt, photos. The 129 basic effects of Plugin Galaxy can be adapted with the help of sliders, check boxes, colour dialogues, colour pickers and preview co-ordinates.

Plugin Galaxy costs $49.95 and can be purchased from The Plugin Site, where free trial versions can be also be downloaded.
