Pixar will unveil the animation techniques it used to create its box office hit movies at Imagina next month.

Pixar animator Travis Hathaway will host a conference at the convention on Saturday February 5 2005 between 10am-1pm.

He will discuss a variety of animation techniques which have been developed and refined for the studio’s biggest films such as The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, and Toy Story. The public session will be followed by short individual sessions between 2pm-5pm.

Hathaway will talk about the entire animation process, including stylistic directiom, an account of his step-by-step working methods and the tools he uses and more.

Pixar's Academy Award-nominated short movie Boundin’, which was shown this year with The Incredibles, has also been nominated for an
Imagina 2005 Award.
