Predictably, London (22 per cent) was first choice for Macworld readers as the venue for the next MacFest travelling roadshow. However, Edinburgh (17 per cent) and Glasgow (8 per cent) adds up to a quarter of the vote going to Scotland – which hasn’t yet featured on the MacFest schedule.
Midlands capital Birmingham was third with 11 per cent, followed by Manchester (8 per cent), with Leeds, Bristol and Cambridge tied on 7 per cent each.
The south coast’s Brighton polled 6 per cent, while Ireland’s Dublin came last with 5 per cent – although one respondent pointed out that “Considering the size of Ireland, 5% must represent a substantial interest”.
Suggestions from readers included Cardiff, Norwich, Southampton, Winchester, Newcastle and Telford.
