MacEase is distributing WebPrint Plus X 1.0 for Mac OS X, a utility that provides an array of tools for collecting, saving and printing information using a Mac.

The utility eliminates browser-printing problems by letting users choose exactly which portions of text or images they want to print, MacEase claims. The solution also supports drag-&-drop printing of text selections and clipping files.

New features in the OS X version include support for coloured text and a universal keyboard shortcut that lets users print selected text from virtually any program (including those that don't usually enable print). The application also includes a built-in text editor.

It can also add Notes to selections, and store users' saved text in an file called the ProjectBoard. The utility includes find-&-replace and Help features. WebPrint Plus X supports Mac OS X 10.2 and 10.1.

A free demo version of the application is available for download. Full registration costs $34.95.
