Quark is to host two seminars at the European Catalogue and Mail Order Conference (ECOMOD), taking place from November 16-17 at the Novotel Convention Centre in London.

Quark’s Juergen Kurz and Robert Klayman will present a seminar, called Direct Marketing Technologies for 2000 and Beyond, on November 16. The seminar will outline the challenges and opportunities facing the industry, and showcase forthcoming Quark products geared to the industry.

Quark will give live product demonstrations on November 17. Products on show include: Mirim, a merchandising and marketing analysis tool. Mirim combines data from a firms order book with digital images from a QuarkXPress created catalogue; eStage, database driven this is designed to streamline the promotional process, creating links between a company’s merchandising team and advertising department; and an as yet un-named product that tracks individual customer preferences.
