Quark has confirmed plans for a major presence at giant UK publishing show, IPEX, between April 4-11.
Ipex is the biggest printing and graphics arts exhibition in the English-speaking world, and Quark will be present with its partners in Hall 20, booth 20-D20 - a 150-square-metre booth - to display its products and solutions for this industry.
Between April 5-7, Quark will demonstrate XPress 7 in the Ipex Vendor Theatre. Presentations take place at 3:15pm on April 5, at 2:30pm on April 6, and at 3:15pm on April 7.
Free XPress 7 training
Quark is sponsoring a QuarkXPress 7 training facility at Ipex, where specialist UK training company, Corps Business, will run free hands-on training. Ipex event goers can choose between two different training sessions: QuarkXPress 7 for Designers and QuarkXPress 7 for Printers.
If you are interested in attending one of the free hands-on training sessions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Quark Partner Pavilion
Quark is also hosting a Quark Partner Pavilion, where a range of partners will display Quark-related products and solutions. Products cover the gamut between database publishing and XML to web-based print solutions.
The company will also offer daily presentations in the Quark Theatre: QuarkXPress 6.5 tips and tricks, QuarkCopyDesk, QuarkDDS, Quark Content Manager and previews of QuarkXPress 7.
A QuarkXPress support station will also be available.
The JDF Pavilion is a 250-square-metre area that aims to explain the Job Definition Format (JDF). Quark will present information about Quark Job Jackets in the JDF Pavilion.
JDF technology aims to ensure that a print job adheres to its specifications from the moment it is created until it rolls off the press.
