Quark has released its second public beta of the Universal version of QuarkXPress 7.

QuarkXPress 7 Universal Binary Public Beta 2 runs natively on any Intel or PowerPC-based Mac. The new beta will work until July 31 - a week before Apple CEO Steve Jobs kicks off Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) on August 7.

Not all the features of the application are fully finished at present. Technical support isn't available, but the company would welcome any feedback from users of the beta software.

You do not need a full version of QuarkXPress, and you do not need to activate a QuarkXPress licence to participate in the QuarkXPress 7 public beta scheme.
