Quark has updated its flagship desktop-publishing suite, QuarkXPress to version 4.1.

New features include improved stability and an improved html filter for converting text form text boxes into html. Tools to speed page layout, integrate PDF documents, and support for importing HTML text into QuarkXPress documents are also included. Also in the package is a new feature called QuarkLink, this allows customers to stay up-to-date with the latest news and updates.

Registered Quark users will receive an update CD via snail mail within the next two to four weeks.

The cover CD on the January issue of Macworld features a free copy of the update, with a series of free XTensions and demos of top Quark XTensions. The magazine is on sale from December 16.
