Apple is postponing its QuickTime Live 2001 conference because of the US terrorist-strikes.
The event was due to take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California from October 8-11, but has now been put back to February 10-14 at the same venue.
Philip Schiller, Apple's vice president of worldwide product marketing, said: "Many QuickTime developers and customers asked us to reschedule to a less stressful time. We'll look forward to seeing them all in February."
QuickTime is Apple's multi-media standard for streaming audio and video over the Internet.
