Apple may release its own flash memory-based ultra-portable Mac at Macworld Expo San Francisco next January.

An Apple Insider report cites UBS analyst Ben Reitzes, who claimed that his proprietary tests suggest Apple to be working on such a device.

The analyst predicts that Apple could be creating a flash-based or a hybrid flash/hard drive-based machine. Such machines would offer significantly faster start-up times.

The report states that UBS offers a 'Buy' rating on Apple stock with a $95 target price.
