As Macworld UK's US readers look forward to Thanksgiving tomorrow, Dallas-based game developer, Blockdot, has released a seasonal game to pass the time.

The game, 'Attack of the Mutant Artificial Trees', is a point-and-click style title that features mutated artificial trees. These frightening artificial arboreals burst out of their boxes, uttering sounds such as, "Bah, Humbug". These bad trees want to take away your Christmas spirit.

The game features one of Santa's elves, who tries to help you stop the season-hating tree incursions: players must score direct hits against the trees using snowballs.

Between round screens of the game offer facts about Christmas Trees. Attack of the Mutant Artificial Trees is available as a free download for Mac OS X and PC.
