Apple’s senior vice president has filed to sell shares in the company – valued at $3 million.

Notice of Nancy Heinen’s intentions were made through the release of a Form 144, which is filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission when an executive officer, director, or affiliate of a company places an order to sell that company’s stock. The sale equates to 125,000 shares of common stock. E*trade Securities has been enlisted to broker the sale.

In a similar move, Fred Anderson, Apple’s chief financial officer, recently announced his intentions to sell 100,000 shares of the company’s common stock, worth $2.5 million.

Yesterday’s close of business saw Apple’s shares valued at $23.69 on the Nasdaq.
