Despite being absent from work for the whole of August, and much of September, Apple CEO Steve Jobs still managed to achieve an excellent performance rating at Forbes Top-Ranked CEOs.

He was awarded a 91 per cent approval rating for both August and September – maintaining his position as the top ranked CEO in Forbes approval tracker for yet another month.

Despite his cancer scare, Jobs' rating is on the up: In July he only raked in 85 per cent of the vote – although still a higher percentage than any other CEO. In February he pulled in his highest ever ranking: 94 per cent.
