Ever needed to charge your mobile phone, camera or iPod while in the wilderness? Eclipse Solar Gear has the answer. The Solar Backpack will pour juice into your batteries via a solar charging system.

The patent-pending line of backpacks will charge anything that can be plugged into a car using a 12V auto adaptor, claims the manufacturer. The solar charger provides up to 2.5 Watts of power.

According to the manufacturer, the charging times depend on many factors, including the amount of sunlight, the type of electronic device, and the type of battery. In indirect sunlight Eclipse estimates that a mobile phone battery could charge in just over 2 hours.

The backpack itself is made of durable 1680 Denier Nylon. It features an MP3 pouch with a headphone portal as well as a removable padded laptop case, reports NewsStream.

It costs $129 and is available in blue or black. The company is offering free shipping on all orders this month.
