Sound Technology has qualified as Apple's latest Logic-focused Authorised Training Centre.
The company was the sole UK distributor of Logic from its inception in 1992 until it was acquired by Apple in 2002. Now an Apple Authorised Training Centre, Sound Technology offers an officially approved three-day Logic 101 training course.
This course introduces students to the primary feature set and basic user interface of Logic Pro. It also teaches how to create a customised audio and MIDI configuration that will seamlessly integrate with a student's personal production studio setup. In-depth lessons cover MIDI and audio recording, streamlined editing and arrangement techniques, user-defined key commands, automation, scoring to picture and surround mixing.
This course is ideal for new users, those looking to expand their knowledge, and those working in education who might require a grounding in all aspects of the software.
The course also meets the necessary criteria to successfully become an Apple Certified Pro, Level 1 in Logic Pro. Students passing a multiple-choice exam on the final afternoon of the course receive an Apple Certified Pro certificate and can also have their name listed as such on Apple's website.
The course fees costs £400 (excluding VAT) including the exam. Students can take the course, without the exam, for £350 (excluding VAT).
