The cross-platform accounting program, Cashbook, is being offered at half-price by the Prince's Trust charity to start-up businesses that it is helping to fund.
Cashbook is published by UK firm Dosh. The Mac and Windows software costs £50 and is an entry-level cash-accounting program. It is currently offered to Lloyd TSB's new-business account customers.
Nick Hardy, marketing manager at Dosh said: "We are in the final stages of developing a Mac OS X-compatible version."
The Prince's Trust helps 14-30 year-olds to develop confidence, learn new skills, and to enter the workforce.
