Apple CEO Steve Jobs took home one dollar for his efforts last year, new Apple financial filing reveals.

Jobs has taken a dollar's salary since he rejoined the company, though he also owns 10 million restricted shares of Apple stock that will be fully vested this month - the equivalent of a 1.2 per cent share of the firm.

Other Apple execs took home more money:

Chief operating officer Tim Cook got a maximum 100 per cent bonus, taking home $602,434 in pay and a $600,239 bonus.

Ron Johnson, head of Apple's retail division, tool $552,795 in salary and a $550,202 bonus.

iPod unit division chief Jon Rubinstein drew $552,795 in pay and a handy $551,239 bonus.
