Apple CEO Steve Jobs will deliver the opening keynote address at Apple Expo Paris 2002 on Tuesday September 10, Apple has confirmed.

The speech takes place at 10am local time at the Palais des Congrès. The show takes place across town at Paris Expo in Porte de Versailles, hall 4, September 10-14.

This is Jobs' first public appearance at a European Mac event since 2000. Last year’s Apple Expo Paris was cancelled after the September 11 atrocity.

Apple has not revealed if the keynote will be broadcast online using QuickTime, or if it will be beamed worldwide using satellite.

Apple Expo Paris is open for pre-registrations.
