Apple today confirmed CEO Steve Jobs will deliver the keynote speech at Macworld Expo San Francisco in January 2007.

The news was revealed by show organisers, IDG World Expo, this afternoon.

"Steve's keynote is always a great way to kick off the biggest Mac event of the year," said David Korse, CEO of IDG World Expo.

"We've added several new features to this year's event, and we're working hard to make this the most entertaining and informative Macworld ever."

Macworld takes place at the Moscone Convention Center between January 8-12. The keynote takes place on Tuesday 9 January at 9am.
