Epson has introduced the Stylus C44 inkjet, replacing its entry-level C42.
The USB printer offers speeds up to 12ppm in text economy mode, and 5.5ppm in colour economy mode.
The device integrates a range of technologies to improve print quality. These include support for Epson's Variable Sized Droplet Technology, which is capable of printing droplets as small as four picolitres. Epson claims resolution to be 2,880dpi (optimized).
It ships with a one-year warranty. The C44 ships in June and costs £59 (inc. VAT).
