Extensis is to release an OS X upgrade for Suitcase 10 on November 19, the company has revealed.

Suitcase is a font-management application, and the update will be available free of charge to registered owners of Suitcase 10.

Extensis general manager Craig Keudell said: "Extensis is committed to being the leading font-management provider for OS X. Suitcase users will benefit from OS X's direct support for OpenType and TrueType fonts."

Apple's vice president of worldwide developer relations, Ron Okamoto, said: "As the adoption of OS X continues to grow, numerous developers are finding it to be extremely robust, versatile and tremendous for new business opportunities."

Suitcase 10 solution can preview, organize and activate fonts, and offers font-finding capability, font activation, and also collects fonts for output.
