Apple will open three more retail stores in North America this week, one in Quebec, Canada and two in the US.

The company plans to open one store in Norfolk, Virginia and another in Lake Grove, New York (Long Island).

The Norfolk store is situated in the MacArthur Center shopping area on the second floor of the complex. The Long Island store will land at the Smith Haven Mall.

In Canada, Apple plans to open for business in the French- and English-speaking state of Quebec. The new shop will be in Laval on the boulevard Le Carrefour.

All three shops are scheduled to open on 9 September at 10pm. As is usual with a new store opening, attendees at any of the three launches will get the chance to grab one of 1,000 free T-shirts (per store).

Each new shop will also host a prize draw, with a digital lifestyle package that includes a 17-inch iMac, a digital camera, a digital video camera and a printer up for grabs to one lucky winner.
