Apple rumour Web site Think Secret, currently being forced by Apple to reveal the sources of trade secrets about unannounced products, has posted a story claiming that Mac OS X Tiger will arrive in early April.

Sources told Think Secret that an international launch event is scheduled for Friday April 1 with the product hitting store shelves on April 15 – a few days before NAB, which begins on April 18.

Should Apple sue Think Secret to reveal the source of this claim, is the question posed by eWeek's Matthew Rothenberg. He suggests that if Apple was to claim a two-week jump on a release announcement was the revelation of a "trade secret" it would "debase the whole (valuable) concept of trade secrets".
