This Saturday's Times newspaper will offer free iTunes downloads and a 30-page special supplement that's dedicated to digital music.

The Times has "teamed-up" with iTunes Music Store and Universal Music to offer five free iTunes tracks each week for eight weeks. The songs showcase new and emerging artists.

Information on the offer will be published in the newspaper's "The Knowledge" supplement. This week's five free tracks come from: Tom Vek; Martin Grech; The Faders; Frank Popp and Lucie Silvas.

A free audiobook, Master and Commander, will also be made available to readers.

The 30-page supplement is called "SoundsEasy'. It aims to show readers how they can join the "digital revolution".
