Apple will open its first international retail store in Tokyo's trendy Ginza shopping district November 30, the company said today.

AppleStore Ginza offers five floors where customers can shop for and learn about Apple products; a Genius Bar; and will offer over 400 customer events each month, including a series of hands-on training classes. A schedule of training events is available online.

Apple's senior vice president of retail Ron Johnson said: "We opened our first retail store just over two years ago and have since hosted over 23 million visitors. We are thrilled to be bringing the best personal computer buying experience to Japan."

The opening of Apple's 73rd own-branded retail store is scheduled for 10am.
