Clarion, the company that introduced Japan's first car radio in 1951, has promised to unveil a fully integrated iPod solution for an in-dash DVD player and monitor at CES.

The VRX755VD, due to be launched in February, will feature a touch-screen, seven-inch monitor that will display playlist, song and artist information, as well as a clock and sound enhancement features.

The company will also showcase a new CD receiver solution for the iPod at CES.

Apple's director of iPod product marketing Stan Ng said: "iPod has revolutionized the way you listen to music by allowing you to take your entire music collection with you anywhere. The car is one of the favourite places to listen to music and Clarion's innovative solutions allow music lovers another option for easily listening to iPod in their car."
