The NBA (US National Basketball Association) and Apple are offering the 2006 basketball playoffs for sale through iTunes in the US.

Fans can download 15-20 minute full game recaps ($1.99 each) of every remaining NBA Playoffs and Finals game broadcast by all NBA networks including ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBATV to their computer or iPod within 24 hours of a game ending.

During the finals, fans will also be able to purchase complete game replays of every finals game the day after they air on ABC, this will cost $5.99 for all the games.

TNT Sports has also agreed to provide over 15 episodes of the Emmy Award-winning studio show, 'Inside the NBA' on TNT. All episodes will also be available on iTunes for $8.99 in total.

The "2006 NBA Playoffs on iTunes" content will be promoted across ESPN and, TNT and NBA TV.

Fans will be able to access the NBA content on iTunes through several download options including a new "Follow Your Team" package which lets fans get automatic downloads of each of their favourite team's games. This costs $8.99.
