Wacom has announced it is on track to begin releasing Mac OS X beta drivers for its products in June.

The company, which made the announcement at this week's Seybold conference in Boston, plans to start beta testing drivers. It hopes to release OS-X native software for the Intuos line of tablets, the Graphire mouse and pen set, and others, by the June target.

The architecture of Mac OS X requires different drivers to support input devices, such as the Graphire. Despite working on OS X since last summer, some of the required functionality to support Apple's latest operating system is missing from the planned drivers, reports
