Karelia Software has released Watson 1.7.2, a Mac OS 10.3 Panther update to its desktop interface to the most popular Web services and content.

The new version adds compatibility with the upcoming OS X 10.3 release, and includes several enhancements and bug fixes.

These include the currently selected tool now being highlighted in the toolbar, and the introduction of an Adjusted preference that prevents "What's New" text from popping up.

Watson is the application that is widely accepted as being the model for of Apple’s bundled Sherlock Internet-searching utility.
