Blizzard Entertainment's hotly-awaited World of Warcraft role-playing game ships in Europe on February 11.

MacCentral reports the company will release the massively multiplayer online role-playing game on that date. 600,000 copies of this cross-platform (Mac and Windows) game have already shipped since November, and 110,000 copies have already been pre-ordered in Europe.

Events take place in Azeroth once again. Players create hero characters of different races and classes, engage in quests, join guilds and work with other characters they meet in the game world to engage in multiple adventures.

The game will cost £29.99, with a monthly subscription fee of between £7.69 to £8.99. A Collector's Edition will also be available for £44.99. The latter includes the game on CD and DVD, a free on-month subscription, a DVD about game development, a cloth map of the game world, music, a book, a manual and an "exclusive in-game pet".
