Apple announced the winners of its Apple Design Awards for 2000 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The awards are for the most innovative product, best look and feel, best adoption of Apple technology and best new product.

Winners received a G4 Power Mac, an Apple Cinema Display, a commemorative plaque and the right to use the Apple Design Awards logo on marketing material.

This year's winners are;

Best new product: ViaVoice Millennium Edition from IBM.

Most Innovative Product: LiveStage Professional, Totally Hip Software.

Best Look & Feel: Maths Mysteries 1.0, Tom Snyder Productions. The runner up in this category was REAL Software's REALbasic 2.0.

Best Apple Technology Adoption: Thinking Home 1.0 from Always Thinking.
