Keyspan has announced the Parallel Printer Connectivity kit for OS X.

Keyspan president Mike Ridenhour said: "Though other manufacturers offer USB parallel printer adaptors, none of them have developed software that makes it easy to add a parallel printer to OS X's Print Center. Our solution is ideal for PC users switching to Mac, and is also useful in schools and offices."

The kit consists of a six-foot cable that connects the parallel printer to the USB port on a Mac or PC. It's compatible with 200 parallel inkjet, laser and dot matrix printers.

It costs $39 and also works with Windows 98, Me and XP.
