Quark has released a demo version of QuarkXPress 6.

The save-disabled demo is available for download from the company's site for both Mac OS X and Windows systems.

Though functional in most respects, it is hobbled by a series of limitations, including one which means all output – including Web document previews – carry QuarkXPress Demo watermarks, and another which limits printouts to five pages.

Also, the demo will print out only to PostScript printers. Collect for Output and the export HTML function are also disabled.

Interested customers can order a CD containing the 118MB demo from Quark; the demo will also be available with the next issues of Macworld Plus and Macworld UK.
