Press Release: Online Publishers Respond to Premium Lead Generation
A new start-up is helping online publishers and bloggers generate revenue through lead generation in the UK.
Publishers simply add the Respond button to their site, and earn revenue when visitors click the button to send an enquiry about a relevant product. The first sector to go live is personal finance. Enquiries are sent to FSA Authorised Advisers and 70% of income is shared with the publisher. Other sectors will be available soon.
Guy Cookson, Co-Founder of Respond, comments, “When browsing the web people often read an article and want to act on it, but get distracted and move on. Respond gives people the chance to act on that impulse and send an enquiry about a product or service without leaving the original page.
“Pre-qualified enquiries are worth more to brands than views and clicks, and we share the majority of income we receive with our network of publishers. It’s a really simple way for website owners and bloggers to generate revenue from premium lead generation without compromising their editorial independence or ethics.”
Adding the Respond button is a simple process and full support is provided. Respond works alongside existing advertising models – including affiliate networks and Google Adsense. It can be added to almost any website and the most popular blogging platforms including WordPress, Tumblr and Blogger, with support for others coming soon.
Use of Respond is free for both publishers and consumers.
Online lead generation is the fastest growing segment in digital advertising according to the IAB, with a year-on-year increase of 71% to $1.5 billion in the US – a trend now being replicated in the UK. Respond enables publishers to take advantage of this trend.
