Media 100 12.5 to be unveiled at NAB, includes FireWire support
Media 100 will unveil version 12.5 of its software at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) tradeshow later this month.
Major highlights of the new version include HDV capture through FireWire, which expands the acquisition and options for Media 100 editors. Media 100 12.5 will also feature support for multi-channel audio tracks.
This marks the fifth major release of Media 100 since the company was acquired by Boris FX in 2005.
Media 100 12.5 will ship in the second quarter of 2008.
