Canvas Pro for iPad review
Canvas Pro may well be the simplest program in the list, but it’s also the least useful. You have at your disposal one brush, one eraser and a choice of 44 colours. You can, of course, alter the size of your brush, but that’s about it. The one thing this program’s got going for it is its multi-touch abilities, which means you can use multiple fingers to paint on the screen at the same time.
Other programs use multi-touch to zoom in or out, or pan across your canvas, but there doesn’t appear to be any such ability with Canvas Pro. It’s even more frustrating when using an image from your photo library: it gets imported at full resolution, but since you’re not able to pan around it, you’re stuck with the top left section of the picture.
And to top it all off, Canvas Pro is one of the most expensive apps on this list.
