Paintbook for iPad review
Paintbook's interface is designed to get out of your way so you can focus on your artwork without any distractions.
The downside is that the buttons feel a tad small, but absolutely everything you need is at the bottom of the screen – from a powerful colour palette, to a choice of 12 customisable brushes, to creating, renaming and reordering layers. Unlike similar apps, there doesn’t seem to be a limit to the number of layers you can have (we stopped at 20).
It’s also easy to reposition a layer on your canvas.
What’s good about this app is its ability to let you work on a large canvas, beyond the iPad’s pixel dimensions. It’s a very powerful program at a great price.
