Microsoft Arc Keyboard review
Those Mac users that strive for a neat, compact desktop will want to test the Arc Keyboard, with its very small footprint and solid build quality we’ve come to expect from Microsoft. If you like the Arc Mouse, this keyboard is its companion of choice.
The keyboard ships with its own slipcase with the RF receiver stored in a magnetic recess under the keyboard itself. You can’t, however, control your Arc Mouse and keyboard from one receiver.
Measuring just 310 x 155mm it may seem very small, but we didn’t feel cramped when typing. One notable concession, though, is that the cursor keys have been replaced with a four-in-one rocker key. Also the slight curve of the keyboard may take a little getting used to but is not uncomfortable.Comparing the Arc to Apple’s wireless keyboard, we actually preferred the feel and travel of the keys on the Arc.
The perfect keyboard for those who hate clutter
Powered via two AAA batteries you can turn the keyboard off to conserve power. If you’re not a fan of Apple’s wireless keyboards, you travel a great deal, or want a very compact and stylish keyboard; the Arc is a great choice.
