It has to be said that the distortion, reflection and curl effects in Rainbow can all be done in Photoshop. It’ll take more time than doing them in this little 69p program, but if you own Photoshop Rainbow’s pretty much redundant. Rainbow offers reflections, borders, curl, perspective shift, colour, a miniature effect, stretching, transparency, flipping, rotations, resizing, cropping and changing the background colour.
Of all those, the last few are present in any photo-editing software you will already have, plus the border effects are fairly hopeless and buggy. It’s the reflection, curl and miniature effects that will be the real time-savers here.
All the effects and distortions are customisable
Everything is controlled with sliders in a preview box so the effect is very configurable. The reflection effect is very neat and the miniature effect works well with the right image. While the effects can’t be stacked as such, they can be applied consecutively for a cumulative result.
