Amazon Prime Day is over for another year, after running throughout 15 and 16 July. With it came deals as big as Black Friday's on Apple products and accessories. Here, we shared everything you needed to know about Amazon Prime Day 2019, including how to get the best deals.

You can read on for our coverage of Prime Day 2019, but keep in mind that it has now come to an end. There are still plenty of deals to be had from across the web, and you'll find many of those listed below. But the next big discount event will be Black Friday in November. Find out what to expect from Black Friday here.

Prime Day was a two whole days for 2019. It is a huge sales event with discounts across millions of products across the globe on Amazon.

It's exclusively for Amazon Prime members, so if you wanted to take advantage the deals, you needed to become a Prime member. And, as part of a Prime Day promotion until 16 July, it was reduced to £59 for a year in the UK, down from £79. In the US, it's $119 for a year. You can also subscribe monthly for £7.99/$12.99

However, the 30-day free trial was also available for anyone that didn't want to commit.

Amazon Prime is a service that began life as a way to get unlimited next day delivery, but has since become much more. Subscribers get access to Amazon's Netflix rival Prime Video, plus plenty of other benefits. You can see all Prime benefits here.

We bring you all of the best Apple deals on Amazon Prime Day from Amazon and beyond here. Our top picks are shown below.

1. Apple iPad 10.2in (2019)

From: John Lewis

Was: £349

Now: £299  (£50 off)

Multiple retailers have knocked dosh off the new iPad 10.2in for 2019. We're focusing on John Lewis because of its strong warranty but if stocks run low you'll get the same price at Currys, Amazon and AO.

2. Apple HomePod

From: John Lewis

Was: £279

Now: £229  (£50 off)

With £50 off the RRP, this the cheapest you can pick up a brand-new HomePod right now. It's even cheaper than a refurbished model from Apple!

3. Apple iPhone XS with 100GB data

From: Three

Now: £42 per month

Click Three's logo to see this excellent deal - but you might want to check the deals offered by EE and Vodafone before you do, just to get a point of comparison. The monthly cost is far lower than the competition (it's dropped by another pound since 1 December), there's no upfront fee, and you get masses of data. Superb.

4. Apple 13in MacBook Air, 1.6GHz dual-core, 128GB (2019) [JL]

From: John Lewis

Was: £1,099

Now: £985  (£114 off)

John Lewis is offering money off the 2019 MacBook Air with this deal. You can get money off the Gold or the Space Grey edition.

5. Apple 13in MacBook Pro, 2.3GHz dual-core, 256GB (2017)

From: Argos

Was: £1,449

Now: £1,149  (£300 off)

This MacBook Pro comes with a 2.3GHz dual-core Kaby Lake processor and 256GB storage. It's the 2017 version and lacks the Touch Bar, but it's not a bad saving.

6. Apple 27in iMac, 3.0GHz six-core, 5K Retina Display, 1TB Fusion Drive (2019)

From: Laptops Direct

Was: £1,749

Now: £1,579  (£170 off)

Get money off the new 2019 27in iMac with Laptops Direct. This is 2019's 3.0GHz six-core model with 1TB Fusion drive that normally costs £1,749.

7. Apple 21.5in iMac, 3.0GHz six-core, 4K Retina Display, 1TB Fusion Drive (2019) [Laptops Direct]

From: Laptops Direct

Was: £1,449

Now: £1,319.97  (£129.03 off)

This is the top of the range 21.5in iMac for 2019 - and you can save a decent amount. Given that the specs of this machine are identical to the entry-level 27in model (which costs £1,749 normally, and sure, has a bigger screen), this is a pretty good deal.

Amazon and Currys also have deals on this model, but right now they are a few pounds more - but we recommend checking as the three companies tend to price match each other.

8. Apple Watch Series 4 (44mm)

From: Currys PC World

Was: £429

Now: £359  (£70 off)

Certain models of last year's (now discontinued) Apple Watch Series 4 now has £70 off at Currys, making it one of the cheapest ways to get your hands on the larger variant of the fourth-gen Watch.

9. Apple 13in MacBook Pro, 1.4GHz, quad-core, 128GB (2019)

From: Currys PC World

Was: £1,299

Now: £1,146  (£153 off)

Currys is offering money off the entry-level 2019 13in MacBook Pro, which, thanks to Apple's 2019 update is now a decent Mac.

John Lewis has a similar deal. You can also get the 2019 13in MacBook Pro from John Lewis for £1,146 here.

10. Apple iPhone XR (SIM-free)

From: Argos

Was: £629

Now: £549  (£80 off)

Argos knocked £80 off the iPhone XR for Black Friday. That's a decent enough offer, but add in the fact that the £629 RRP is itself a reduction from the £749 that Apple was charging as recently as September 2019, and you'll see that this is seriously good value. However, stock has run out in many areas so act fast to be in with a chance of getting this deal.

11. Apple Mac mini, 3.0GHz 6-core, 256GB (2018)

From: Laptops Direct

Was: £1,099

Now: £999.97  (£99.03 off)

Laptops Direct is offering the newest 2018 Mac mini (with a 256GB SSD and i5 processor, so not the entry-level model) for under £1,000 - a nice deal. It normally costs £1,099.

12. Apple Mac mini, 3.6GHz quad-core, 128GB (2018) [Amazon]

From: Amazon

Was: £799

Now: £713  (£86 off)

This is a small but decent saving on the price of the 2018 quad-core 3.6GHz Mac mini. (FYI, we've seen this particular model discounted more on Amazon, so it might be worth waiting a week or two for bigger discounts - Amazon and Laptops Direct chase each other's prices on this one.)

13. Apple iPad Pro 10.5in (2017, renewed)

From: Amazon

Was: £529

Now: £384.99  (£144 off)

This is a great price on the Wi-Fi 10.5in iPad Pro. Note that it's part of the generation before the current one, having launched in 2017 - the iPad Pro 10.5in is still a powerful device, though - and 'renewed' devices are Amazon's equivalent of Apple's refurbished line, which means it's second-hand but fixed up and backed by a new guarantee.

14. Apple Watch Series 3 (38mm)

From: Argos

Was: £199

Now: £189  (£10 off)

With £10 off the relatively affordable RRP, this is a good saving on the smaller 38mm version of the Series 3. In fact, this is the cheapest you can buy it online right now.

15. Apple iPhone XS (SIM-free)

From: Amazon

Was: £999

Now: £699  (£300 off)

A brilliant deal. The XS remains an excellent phone, despite having been effectively replaced by the iPhone 11 Pro. See our full coverage of this deal.

16. Apple iPhone XR with 30GB data

From: O2

Now: £90 upfront, £30 per month

Vodafone's excellent-value XR deal (£29.99 upfront, £33 per month, 60GB of data) is no more, but this offer from O2 - if you can manage with a bit less data - will cost you less over the course of the contract. Scroll down to see the contracts.

17. Apple iPhone 7 (SIM-free, 128GB)

From: Amazon

Was: £549

Now: £429  (£120 off)

This is a decent saving (although the price has gone up by a tenner since 14 November, and may drop again); read our iPhone 7 review for advice on whether this 2016 handset is right for you.

We recommend that you go for the 128GB model linked above, but if you think you can manage with 32GB that's available for £379.

18. Apple 27in iMac, 3.7GHz six-core, 5K Retina Display, 2TB Fusion Drive (2019)

From: Currys PC World

Was: £2,249

Now: £2,049  (£200 off)

Save money on the 2019 iMac with this deal from Currys PC World. It's better than the firm's advertised discount because this is the top-of-the-range £2,249 model.

19. Apple AirPods with Wireless Charging Case (early 2019)

From: Laptops Direct

Was: £199

Now: £158.97  (£40.03 off)

Laptops Direct has the best AirPods deal at the moment and you can get the non-wireless charging case model for just £128. This is a solid deal (Apple is still asking the full £199 for this model, but be aware that AirPods Pro have since been launched.)

20. Apple iPhone 11

From: Three Mobile

Now: £49 upfront, £48 per month  (With free Beats Solo 3 headphones or AirPods)

Pick up the latest iPhone from Three and get a free pair of Beats Solo 3 headphones or AirPods.

While Apple itself doesn’t join in on Amazon Prime Day, there are plenty of retailers that recognise that it’s worth joining in the fun, so you can find deals events from some of your favourites including:

As mentioned, you’ll need to sign up to Amazon Prime (or the free trial) to get access to the deals on Amazon. You should also make sure your payment and shipping information is up to date to make sure you can purchase products before they sell out.

If you come across a deal that has sold out, you can usually join the waitlist to be alerted to any stock that becomes available, usually because someone has decided they don’t want to purchase it after all and removes it from their basket.

You can also use the Watch this Deal button on upcoming deals to be alerted when they become available.

What is Amazon Prime Day?

Prime Day is rapidly becoming as well-known as Black Friday. It’s a deals event hosted by Amazon exclusively for Prime members, with more than a million bargains available across its varied catalogue.

This is the fifth Amazon Prime Day to take place, and the longest yet at 48 hours. 2017's Prime Day was 30 hours, but Amazon added an extra six to that for a whole 36 hours of frantic deal hunting time in 2018.
