Selfie sticks can be a great way to capture photos of your solo adventures or group photos that don't leave anyone out.
The idea is simple - a telescopic pole with your phone on the end - but in actual fact they vary when it comes to price, quality and features.
Here's our pick of the best selfie sticks for iPhone. We've also got a round-up of the best camera apps that'll help make your photos even better.
Yoozon Wireless Tripod Selfie Stick
The Yoozon selfie stick's handle cleverly unfolds into a tripod to allow you even more flexibility when capturing a shot. The stick extends up to 26.7 inches and allows 360° horizontal rotation through the camera mount.
It fits newer iPhone models too such as the iPhone XS/XS Max, XR, and iPhone X.
Additionally, this selfie stick comes with a detachable Bluetooth remote, which is rechargeable via Micro USB. The remote takes 30 minutes to fully charge.
Yoozon's selfie stick is compatible with a variety of phones along with the iPhone. This includes the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, S8 and S8 Plus as well as Google's Nexus and Pixel. Yoozon also offers an 18-month warranty on all their products.

Mpow Bluetooth Wireless Selfie Stick
If you have an older iPhone, Mpow's Bluetooth Wireless Selfie Stick works with models up to iPhone 7/7 Plus
This selfie stick is small and convenient, with no wires required and a handy shutter button situated on the handle.
It uses a U-shape clamp design that's rotatable, making it easy to pop your phone into the holder and get snapping.
Mpow iSnap Selfie Stick
There's an Mpow selfie stick for newer iPhones too, which is compatible with iPhone XS/XS Max, XR and iPhone 8/8 Plus.
It features a 270-degree adjustable head and fully charges within 30 minutes. It extends up to 81cm when extended though only a compact 18cm when compact.
Anker Selfie Stick
Also popular is Anker's selfie stick, which we think is one of the most stylish of the lot.
It fits most smartphones except 7, 8 and X models (including Plus varieties), and even though it has a built-in button it doesn't require charging which is good.
The downfall is that the stick requires a wire to connect to your phone instead, but it's a small price to pay for infinite battery life and it also means there's no pairing required. Just plug in and play.
SAMAR Selfie Stick
A super-cheap option comes in the form of SAMAR's selfie stick. It too has a remote shutter button which makes it a bargain, particularly when it's on sale on Amazon (sometimes for under a fiver).
It's a very popular choice, with over 1,000 customer reviews on Amazon, most of them positive, and for that price you can't go too far wrong.
This selfie stick isn't currently available in the US.
XSories Me-Shot Deluxe
Available in a few colourts, it's immediately noticeable that the Me-Shot Deluxe from XSories is sturdier and more durable than the other selfie sticks listed here, but it does have some downfalls. It clamps right onto your iPhone, so it shouldn't matter which model you own.
The metallic mount that comes with this selfie stick is easy to use, thanks to a knob on the side that you turn to tighten the grip it has on the iPhone.
It felt strong, so you won't need to worry about your iPhone falling out during use, and there are rubberised grips that mean it won't leave a mark on your iPhone's screen or case.
Once your iPhone is mounted on the selfie stick, you can adjust the angle using the sturdy hinge, and change the iPhone from landscape to portrait if you prefer.
The major downside, though, is that the Me-Shot Deluxe doesn't have a shutter button built-in, but you will get a remote control in the box that connects to your iPhone via Bluetooth and allows you to take photographs without setting a timer.
Fugetek 49in Professional Selfie Stick
Fugetek's selfie stick offers a 49 inch reach and comes with 3 mounts (2, if you're in the US): a screw tight mount to securely lock in your phone, a mirror mount, so you can see yourself when using the rear-facing camera, and a GoPro adapter mount (UK only).
Professional photographers may also find it useful that this selfie stick is compatible with DSLR cameras. You can also operate this stick with a USB-charged Bluetooth remote.
It's not quite as compact and lightweight as other selfie sticks, but this is a small price for the length and flexibility this stick affords.
Lifestyle Designs Selfie Stick and Tripod
This selfie stick comes with an attachable folding mini tripod which can be used as a handheld selfie stick when used on its own. The set works with GoPro and digital cameras.
Like some of the other sticks mentioned in this piece, this one comes with a Bluetooth remote as well, which can be operated from up to 30 feet away.
