Features include instant real-time conversion and the ability to hear a native speaker pronounce words, while a built-in phrasebook houses a collection of the most commonly used expressions. Translations can also be sent via SMS, email or posted on Facebook via a wonderfully simple interface. Learning a new language is now quicker and easier than ever.

Step 2 of 7: 1. Pick a language

Use your finger to scroll through a list of 52 languages, ranging from Afrikaans to Yiddish and all points in-between.

 

Step 3 of 7: 2. Hear me out

Tap the handy little loudspeaker icon to hear the translated phrase delivered in spoken form by a native speaker.

 

Step 4 of 7: 3. MyBook

Store popular or regularly needed phrases inside the ‘Bookmarks’ area of the interface under a common theme such as ‘Travel’.

 

Step 5 of 7: 4. Keep a history

The ‘Favourites’ tab allows you to keep a history of translations, which can be deleted by tapping the ‘Edit’ button.

 

Step 6 of 7: 5. Share your photos

Use the toolbar to share phrases on Facebook, via email or by way of an SMS to a mobile phone.

 

Step 7 of 7: 6. Easy email

The app opens your email and places the phrase in a message for sending to the recipient of your choice.
