When creating artwork which needs a fair amount of copy to describe a product, or as information, it’s a pain to just fill it with streams of xxxs until you are ready for the real copy.

When creating artwork which needs a fair amount of copy to describe a product, or as information, it’s a pain to just fill it with streams of xxxs until you are ready for the real copy.

 

Step 2 of 3: Step 2

Instead, mark out the text field and set the font size and parameters as usual then go to Type> Paste Lorum Ipsum to fill out the entire text field in one go.

 

Step 3 of 3: Step 3

When ready, copy your real words, mark the dummy text and press Cmd-V to paste and replace it with the correct font parameters already in place.
